Homestead Funding recently donated goods the Red Cross’s Totes of Hope program. We were able to deliver six grocery bags filled with personal care items to assist veterans in our community thanks to Stefanie Rosenthal, daughter of one of our employees. Stefanie is an extreme coupon shopper and who finds free items throughout the year to donate to various organizations. She posted the Totes of Hope Campaign Flyer on the Coupon Shopper Blog for others to donate to their local Red Cross. Joel Slutsky and Dawn Keyrouze are the employees who brought awareness of this program to Homestead.

Thank you to everyone who helped!

For more information on the program, watch this video. Or go to the NENY Red Cross’s webpage.

Homestead Funding’s Danbury, CT branch recently participated in the 2013 Candlewood Lake Dragon Boat Race. Teams competed for bragging rights while building camaraderie and spending the day at Candlewood Lake.

Donations benefited the Candlewood Lake Authority, which works to protect the lake and provide public safety for its users.

Thank you Homestead Funding Danbury for your commitment to your community! Go Team!

Homestead Funding’s Corporate office continually supports the American Red Cross by conducting blood drives on a semi-annual basis, where employees have the opportunity to donate during the day. We thank all of our employees for their support and help. We had 31 presenting donors and everyone was able to give a successful donation! Overall these collections will be used to help up to 93 local hospital patients in need.

Thanks also to our Corporate Office’s neighbors, Auto/Mate and NYS Ag & Markets for their employees’ donations as well.
