Homestead Funding would like to welcome Alex Masterpol to our Brewerton, NY sales team. Alex has been in the mortgage industry for over 30 years having been a highly accomplished loan originator and recognized as a top producer.

Alex strives to keep his customers happy and provide them exemplary service. He believes sharing his knowledge is key to his customers enjoying a stress-free mortgage transaction. 

Alex says he is happy to be part of the Homestead team because they offer a wide variety of loan programs that he can assist his customers with including: fixed rate Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loans; adjustable rate loans and renovation loan programs.

Alex has been successful in establishing an excellent relationship within the medical community in Central New York and referred to by many as The Mortgage Doctor because of his financial knowledge and expertise.  He prides himself on being accessible to his customers when they need him. Welcome Emily McVay

Homestead Funding would like to welcome Emily McVay to our Lockport, NY sales team. Emily has been in the banking industry for over five years.

Over the course of her career, Emily has learned that people communicate in various ways whether by text, phone, email or in person.  She prides herself on doing business the way her client feels the most comfortable.  She treats every client as if they were her own family and walks them through every step of the transaction from application to closing.

Emily is very passionate about helping people not just in her profession but volunteering as well.  She founded and runs an organization called “Begin Again”; an organization that creates kitchen kits for women and children in Cattaraugus and Chautauqua County escaping domestic violence.  Emily is also a member of the American Association of University Women, raising thousands of dollars in scholarships for local young women looking to pursue higher education through our annual What’s New Fair. 

Emily also enjoys hiking with her husband and two beagles and assisting her family on a local farm raising water buffalo, golden pheasants, angus and chickens.

Emily says she is happy to be a part of the Homestead team because of the wide variety of mortgage products they offer that allow her to meet her client’s needs.

Homestead Funding would like to welcome Anthony (Tony) Baker to our Sarasota, FL sales team. Tony has been in the sales industry for over ten years.

Tony understand that his clients are real people who have given him the privilege of helping them buy what will probably be the largest purchase decision they will ever make.  He prides himself on never ending a conversation without his client knowing what is happening, when it will happen and what will be coming next.  When you work with Tony, he will take an overall look at your financial situation and listen to your goals to determine the most beneficial loan program for your needs.

Welcome Melissa Cappelli

Homestead Funding would like to welcome Melissa Cappelli to our Albany, NY sales team. Melissa joined the processing /underwriting department at Homestead Funding in 2015.  She learned various aspects of the residential mortgage industry while working closely with top producers, who emphasized the importance of customer service, managing client expectations and effective communication. Melissa says, “being able to work on a large quantity of files helped me to think outside the box and come up with creative strategies to make the mortgage process as simple, well communicated and stress free as possible for my clients.” Melissa is excited about this new journey in her Homestead career as it allows her to work with creative, fun, and a dedicated group of professionals who promote a positive and caring atmosphere.

Melissa’s a Syracuse native who grew up playing sports and watching Syracuse University. Melissa graduated from SUNY Oswego with a BA in Psychology. She moved to the Albany area in 2008 and purchased her first home in Schenectady in 2012.

Melissa recently became a member of the American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure Planning Committee and at Christmas time she sponsors a child with the Chamber Angels of Southern Saratoga County.  Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, volunteering and cheering on SU…GO ORANGE!

Welcome Courtney Delaney

Homestead Funding would like to welcome Courtney Delaney to our Clifton Park, NY sales team. Courtney has been in the mortgage business for over nine years. She was raised and attended school in Saratoga Springs and continues to live in the area.

Courtney brings with her the knowledge she obtained as a processor; pay attention to detail and set proper expectations for her clients.  She always goes above and beyond for her borrowers as she understands this is probably the largest purchase and biggest decision they will make.  There is no question Courtney won’t answer and she does her best to insure a clean, smooth and quick mortgage process from application to closing.

Courtney spends her personal time with her amazing family and volunteers with Junior Achievement at local elementary schools.  Junior Achievement fosters work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills. She also loves camping, outdoor activities and of course her four rescue animals.  

Courtney says she is so happy to be a part of the Homestead Funding family -- a powerhouse in the residential mortgage industry.  “Local processing allows for a smooth experience and we all share our knowledge and experience which ultimately benefits the clients.”
