With over 25 years in the mortgage industry, I have originated more than $750,000,000 in mortgages and assisted over 5,000 clients in achieving homeownership. While the numbers are impressive, my true pride lies in the countless lives I've helped transform by making the dream of owning a home a reality.
Originally from Manhattan, I relocated to the scenic Southern Tier upon marrying my wonderful wife, Jeannie, in 1994. The area's beauty and its community's warmth have made it our home. We are blessed with triplet daughters—Rebecca, a Registered Nurse in Sarasota; Emily, a Licensed Master Social Worker in Buffalo; and Alexandra, who is a veterinarian. The arrival of my daughters inspired a career shift from running a private investigation agency in Manhattan to the more stable realm of banking, where I could ensure a secure future for my family.
My journey with Homestead Funding was driven by their unparalleled commitment to the borrower experience and an operations team that truly stands out. Before aligning with Homestead, I was a Regional Manager for a mortgage banker and previously operated my own mortgage brokerage.
Education and continuous learning are pillars of my professional life. I previously held a New York State Real Estate Broker's License for many years, and I am also an IRS Enrolled Agent, which allows me to represent taxpayers before the IRS in audit and tax matters nationwide. These qualifications, while not my primary focus, enrich my ability to serve my clients by offering insights into both real estate transactions and financial/tax planning.
When I'm not assisting clients through the mortgage process, you'll find me exploring nature's trails with Jeannie or capturing moments through the lens as a passionate amateur photographer. My family remains my greatest joy and priority.
