Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York

Each year since 1998 we have supported the Regional Food Bank’s Holiday Hunger Appeal by asking shoppers in Crossgates mall in Albany, NY to help feed the hungry with a one dollar donation. Our people also generously volunteer their time to work in the food bank warehouse. In 2014 we were able to assist in collecting nearly $65,000 in mall collections alone!

Our local Food Bank distributes food donations from growers, wholesalers and retailers to food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters throughout 23 counties in northeastern New York. Because the food is donated, the Regional Food Bank is able to provide agencies feeding the needy with $10.00 worth of food for every dollar contributed. Even a small donation of $1 has a big impact.
